Billing should help you make a clear decision, not leave you decoding a surprise later. Diony's account centre now puts your plan, credit balance, usage, payment method, auto-reload settings and transaction history in one place, with Australian-dollar pricing shown before you commit. See the cost and the limits first Every paid plan shows its monthly price, included AI credits and the practical limits that apply to products, services, locations, events, articles and vendors. Included credits reset when the paid subscription renews and do not roll over. That rule is displayed with the plan so you can compare what fits your season before selecting anything. If a monthly plan is not the right fit, prepaid credit packs remain available. The account centre shows the pack price and the number of credits it adds. Diony applies those credits only after Square confirms the payment. Square handles the card details Payment methods are added through Square's secure card form. Diony receives a single-use token from Square and does not receive or store your card number or security code. You can see whether a payment method is on file, replace it securely, or remove it for future Diony charges. A pending refund still returns to the original payment method even if that saved method is later removed from Diony. Nothing activates before confirmation A new plan, plan change or credit purchase is not activated merely because a button was pressed. Square must confirm the payment first. If Square reports a refund or reversal, Diony reconciles the matching credits as well, including an adjustment when related credits have already been used. Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancellation is scheduled. When you cancel, the account centre shows that the plan will end at the current period boundary rather than disappearing without an explanation. Auto-reload stays under your control Auto-reload is optional. When enabled, you choose the credit threshold, the reload pack and a monthly spending cap. This provides a ceiling as well as a trigger. You can change or disable the setting from the same billing screen. A history you can reconcile Billing activity appears with its date, description, status and Australian-dollar amount. You can also download the transaction history as a CSV for your own records. If a billing operation is still being confirmed, the account centre says that billing is updating instead of presenting a completed result too early. What we learned before launch Before enabling normal production billing, Diony ran a small controlled live test. The test expected eight A$1 charges, but a configuration error produced five A$1 top-ups and three A$0.06 subscription payments: A$5.18 in total rather than A$8.00. We blocked further test checkout, restored the normal catalog, reconciled the provider and local records, and completed refunds for all eight payments. We then verified the normal plan variations, active Australian Square location, AUD currency, webhook coverage, database idempotency safeguards, campaign closure and refund records through no-charge production preflights. Normal billing was enabled only after those checks passed. Know what happens next The account centre is designed to answer three questions: what do I have, what have I used, and what happens next? Prices and credit rules are visible before purchase, Square confirms the money movement, and Diony records the result. That is the standard we mean by billing without the surprise.
